Guadalquavir River, Seville.

Tonight we enjoyed a small private cruise along the Guadalquavir Canal, a branch of the Guadalquavir River which passes through Seville. Our guide was very entertaining, telling stories of the history of the river and the part it has played in Seville's growth over the centuries.

It was quite magical watching the colours change as the sun set over the city, and hearing the stories of the bridges, churches and customs of the area and the way the city has changed over time.
