Belfast

Today is our last day in Ireland and we spent it exploring the streets of the city of Belfast and viewing the Titanic Experience, which is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in Belfast. We spent at least three hours in the exhibition which is chock a block with information about the history of Belfast as well as the construction and eventual demise of the famous ship Titanic.

Despite the drizzle, we enjoyed our walk through the city and along the banks of the River Lagan. Belfast is an exciting mix of old and new, and has some interesting public artworks too, including the Glass of Thrones installations which are stained-glass illustrations that depict the different houses from Game of Thrones.

Ireland has been wonderful and we have enjoyed the friendliness of all the Irish people we have met. Tomorrow we catch the ferry from Belfast to Cairnryan in Scotland. The adventure contines.
